We often come across feed processing projects that use fresh forage grass and green straw as raw materials. For fresh forage and green straw processing feed, using our special screw dehydrator can easily reduce the moisture in the broken forage and straw by about 15%.
Now, some people will worry that some of the protein will be lost in the water that is squeezed by screw pressing, and a small amount of protein will flow out with the liquid. We are concerned about some cases and experiences of foreign screw presses applied to the processing of fresh plants into feed. Their data shows that there is an interesting discovery in the solids in feed press liquid. It pointed out that about half of the press liquid solids are potassium carbonate, other mineral salts, and immature ammoniated compounds, which are more harmful as feed. There are also some cases where the squeezed liquid is concentrated and reused as irrigation liquid to return to the field.
